Wernigerode/Sachsen-Anhalt. DieMount develops and fabricates
electro-optic modules according to a novel, patent protected process
for fiber-chip alignment.
DieMount products aim at the following markets:
DieMount fabrictes its products on a 300sqm area including a 70sqm clean room for die and wire bonding process steps. At present there are 5 employees at DieMount. From January 2003 to September 2005 the company received financial funds from the German program FUTOUR2000 to carry out the innovation project "Microstructured coupling elements for high effient optical fiber-chip coupling". From January 2006 to September 2008 DieMount was a project partner in the European development project POF-ALL. The target of POF-All was the development of the next generation POF based data transmission systems. At present DieMount cooperates with two partner companies in Sachsen-Anhalt in the joint project MOPF (multifunctional optical polymer fibers). The project target in MOPF is the development of side light fiber systems. |
